Tri Sigma Partners with PCI for Alumnae Directory

Tri Sigma announced a partnership with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to create a comprehensive alumnae directory for members.

During the next few months, PCI will contact members via email, postcard, and phone call to confirm and/or update member information. Members are encouraged to respond by calling the number or visiting the website provided to update their information. Alumnae may also order the 2020 Tri Sigma Alumnae Directory when they update their information.

PCI is a trusted partner of Tri Sigma and is contractually obligated to keep all personal information received confidential.

I received an email/postcard/phone call from a company asking for my personal information. They said they were working on a directory for Tri Sigma. Is this a legitimate project, or is it a scam?

We have partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce our new Members directory. PCI is a company located in Dallas, TX that publishes directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation. This project allows Tri Sigma to receive important updates to our database so we know more about our Members and how we can better serve you and future Members.

Why is Tri Sigma soliciting members?

This project allows Tri Sigma to receive important updates to our database so we know more about our Members and how we can better serve you and future Members. Partnering with a company like PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) provides the most efficient way to complete a project of such bandwidth; 90,000 members is a lot of women to find and update! The purchase of the directory is completely optional and if it is not purchased, your information will still be updated in Tri Sigma’s database.

How do I know my information will only be used for directory purposes?

Tri Sigma has a contractual agreement with PCI that states:
The names, addresses and information provided to PCI by Tri Sigma for the publication of the Directory will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the Directory and except as required by court order or law.
The Directory will be made available only to Members of Tri Sigma. Upon completion of the project, PCI will return to Tri Sigma any and all electronic files that have been supplied by Tri Sigma or produced by PCI in connection with the production of the Directory.

I would like to verify and update my information. How may I do this?

If you have received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Tri Sigma project. The representative will verify all the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed. One of the numbers for the Tri Sigma Members is 1-855-376-0576.

If you have received an email with an embedded link, you may go to the online site to review your information. If you have questions, you may call PCI’s customer service desk at 1-800-982-1590.

I haven’t received communication from PCI, but other sisters have. What do I do?

Women initiated within the last 5 years (2014 and later) are marked as “young alumnae” and will not be contacted until the end of the project (next spring and summer). PCI does this because results have shown they are not likely to respond to a postcard or email asking them to call in. If you fall into this category, you can wait until you are contacted next spring/summer or call PCI directly at 1-855-376-0576 to complete your update.

What happens after I update my information?

You will receive an email to confirm the data you submitted. Please be sure to click through all the pages to verify it is correct before it is printed. The last page of this verification is a five question survey with information vital to Tri Sigma and the Tri Sigma Foundation.

This email verification will also allow you to rate your call experience with PCI. Your feedback helps PCI improve future calls with Tri Sigma Members.

Can anyone purchase a directory?

Can I choose some or all of my information not to be printed in the directory?

When you call to update your information, you can tell the representative what information you would prefer to have excluded. You may also communicate this information to the PCI customer service desk (1-800-982-1590) or to National Headquarters. Additionally, you will receive an email to verify information confirmed during the call. You can add additional information through that verification link that you’d like printed or excluded from the directory.
