If we donate money to March for Babies does it count toward our collegiate chapter’s Accreditation goal for total donated to the Foundation?

No. To ensure the funds you donate accumulates for your chapter’s Accreditation goals, your chapter must give directly to the Tri Sigma Foundation. When you give to the Foundation, please include a memo in your Bill Highway transfer designating your chapter gift to March of Dimes. All donations via March for Babies website are gifts directly to the March of Dimes Foundation.

Is our chapter required to walk in March for Babies?

No. Your chapter does not have to walk in March for Babies. Many volunteer opportunities are available before, during, or after March for Babies by contacting your local March of Dimes market office. We understand that March for Babies may overlap with many chapter Founder’s Day celebrations. Find an office near you under our March of Dimes resources and ask how you can volunteer.

How can our chapter register to walk for March for Babies?

You can individually register to walk at www.marchforbabies.org/trisigma. Find your collegiate or alumnae chapter by state or the search bar. Each chapter has already been matched with the March for Babies walk nearest your city.

Am I required to meet a fundraising goal to participate in March for Babies?

No. All money raised for March for Babies impacts the mission of March of Dimes; however, you can always volunteer or invite others to register to walk to raise awareness about March of Dimes and the fight against prematurity.

Can we register for a March for Babies that works best for our alumnae or collegiate chapter calendar even if it is further away?

Yes! Please note that if you have volunteered previously with a local MOD office, a different MOD office may coordinate other nearby March for Babies walks in your state. Contact your local MOD market office to find the best contact for your desired March for Babies. If you prefer to walk in a different march location than your chapter, you can make that location change during your individual registration.
