Empowering Leaders

The face of women in leadership has changed. She is a student who is paying her own way through school, a daughter caring for her parents, an officer in her chapter, a sister that is serving in her community. She is destined to change the world, and she will succeed if given the opportunity to gain the skills she needs to lead.

In 2018, Tri Sigma offered critical leadership training through its national leadership programs: President’s Academy, Prevention Institute, Education Summit, Labyrinth Leadership Experience, Service Immersion, Dunham Women of Character Institute and Alumnae Engage. Serving over 800 members, both collegian and alumnae.

Below you will learn what program participants like Lindsay Maunz, of Alpha Phi chapter, and professional alumnae like Stephanie Mills Farrell (SAM!), of Epsilon Theta chapter, have shared about these leadership opportunities making positive changes within our members and within our chapters.

The results of these programs, strong women ready to lead, will greatly contribute to the future success of Tri Sigma.

Emerging needs for developing future leaders

Why give to the Foundation? By supporting the Greatest Need Fund you are supporting the immediate needs of Tri Sigma, including achieving measurable results for the National Organization, her members, and Sigma’s philanthropic priorities. Your gift helps bridge the gap between the programs and support made possible from membership dues and the realities of educational and leadership expenses.

Annually, the Foundation provides a grant to the Sorority for Tri Sigma leadership and educational programs like Presidents Academy and Dunham Women of Character Institute. Right now we are able to fund less than 10% of the educational needs of the Sorority. The generosity of our donors can change that – help us make a difference in the lives of every Tri Sigma sister!
