Tri Sigma chapters shine in Greek Weeks

The spring semester is the season for Greek Weeks on university and college campuses across the country. Our chapters had fun competing and took home some wins from their campus competitions!

Beta Xi, Southeast Missouri State University: “Tri Sigma, with the help of our pairings Sigma Chi and Theta Xi, was able to donate the most blood in the Greek Week blood drive. 100% of the pairing donated blood, and because of that 567 lives were saved!”

The Theta Kappa Chapter won several events during Greek Week.

Theta Kappa, University of Wisconin-LaCrosse: “We won first place in the following Greek Week events: chalk drawing, wearing letters/canned goods donation, lip-sync battle, and Greek Games (flag football). This was really exciting for us because out of the three years we have been on campus, this is the second time we have won Greek Week! We are so proud to have shown so much Sigma spirit through teamwork, support, and encouragement throughout the week. We couldn’t have done it without each other!”

Eta Beta Chapter member Kelsey Branham organized a dog food donation to the Newberry Animal Shelter during Greek Week.

Eta Beta, Newberry College: “Our sister, Kelsey Branham, organized with a company for a donation of three pallets of dog food to be donated to the Newberry Animal Shelter. We are so thankful for her to work to make a donation in our name and to give back to the community. This donation was made during Greek Week. We wanted to do something to help out the community and what better way than to help out local animals who are in need.”

Theta Delta, Lindenwood University: ”Some of the awards we received at the last Greek awards were Chapter of the Year, Outstanding New Member, Greek Week winners, and President of the Year.”
