Foundation Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides the strategic vision for the Tri Sigma Foundation to achieve its mission. The board is comprised of 14 alumnae directors and two National Council ex-officio members.

Serve on the Foundation Board of Directors

Board service gives members the opportunity to contribute their knowledge and experience in various areas to strengthen the Foundation and Tri Sigma as a whole.

Board service is a significant commitment as and an outstanding professional opportunity. Board service requires time and dedication, including monthly conference calls and committee work. As good stewards of Foundation resources, each board member covers their own cost of travel pertaining to Foundation meetings and events.

Position Requirements

  • Serve the full 3-year term.
  • Attend annual in-person Board of Directors meetings (generally in the summer months)
  • Attend Convention 2025 in St. Louis, MO
  • Participate in monthly board and committee meetings via video conference
  • Be a member of Pillars of Sigma

The Tri Sigma Foundation Nominating Committee accepts applications to serve on the Foundation Board of Directors in the spring. Applicants who lead with consensus-building, are good communicators, and who have a visionary leadership style are encouraged to apply. Members with experience in non-profit financial management including investments or accounting, strategic leadership, non-profit governance, and entrepreneurship are also encouraged to apply.
