Endowed Scholarships

Since our establishment in 1984, the Tri Sigma Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 dollars to Tri Sigma collegians and alumnae pursuing their educational dreams. Nearly 40 named scholarships are currently endowed through the Tri Sigma Foundation. Each endowed scholarship is awarded annually; however, a few scholarships funded early in the Foundation's history are part of a shared endowment and not awarded annually but rotate recognition on a triennial basis.

Foundation scholarships provide relief to the rising cost of college tuition and the supplies students require to be successful in pursuit of their degree. With more than 200 scholarship applicants each year, it is crucial that we continue to empower academic achievement. Your contribution can help the Tri Sigma Foundation scholarship program grow to meet the educational needs of all of our sisters.

Information about endowing a scholarship fund:

  • A scholarship can be established with a gift of $25,000, payable over a five-year period.
  • A scholarship can be established by an individual donor, family, chapter, or group.
  • The donor can choose to keep the scholarship open to all Tri Sigma applicants or designate the scholarship for specific chapters, fields of study, and undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Scholarship assets are professionally invested and managed under the supervision of the Tri Sigma Foundation Board of Directors.
